I am Leo

On May 11th, 2019, Leo arrived at SAFE from the dairy farm where he was born. He was only a few days old. He was hungry and very scared. He had enormous hairless patches of burnt skin on his legs, stomach and chest; the result of being kept in a urine soaked pen since birth. Looking for his mom, alone, hungry and neglected, not every calf is as lucky as Leo has been.

Leo has since grown into a fun-loving teenager who enjoys playing and running around the sanctuary with Marty. He loves bananas, watermelon, cuddles, and testing out his horns wherever he can. He makes us laugh every day with his antics.

Nemoo

Nemoo is a male calf of the Jersey breed and therefore has no use in the dairy industry or in the meat industry. His destiny was different.

Storm

Im a shy little goat who loves head scratches from humans!

Bronco

I enjoy being petted and brushed by humans. And I am very smart as I will do everything to go out!

Olivia

I’m Olivia, Dais’s companion!

Dudley

I’m Dudley, Peking duck, full of energy and chatter!

Gilbert

I am a rooster that is full of energy with a personality that does not go unnoticed!

Stella

My name is Stella and I was Patsy’s love!

Delilah

I love getting my belly scratched by humans, but don’t tell anyone!

Alice

I love going out for fresh air and hanging out with my dirty friends

Malcolm

I am a sweet and sociable boy who gets along with others

Calvin

I am the biggest of all my bovine friends! I am often asked how old am I :)
