I am Dudley

Dudley arrived at SAFE at the very beginning of May 2021.

It’s a Peking duck in very good shape. He loves jabbering with his companions and wandering all over the sanctuary as if he were on his way to an important meeting. Although he’s part of Clover, Ferdinand and D’Artagnan’s group most of the time, he can just as easily quarrel with them and reform his group with Dais and the 2 Muscovite ducks, Cosette and Olivia.

Like his companions who arrived at the same time, he was one of a series of ducklings we kept and others we placed. There was a craze in Montreal to adopt ducklings thanks to a post on TikTok urging their adoption. Young people sold them on street corners or in schoolyards.
Responsible parents tried to place them, but many were abandoned in parks or on the streets.

I love getting my belly scratched by humans, but don’t tell anyone!

Argent

I am Argent, the calm and gentle rooster of the Red Barn!

Nemoo

Nemoo is a male calf of the Jersey breed and therefore has no use in the dairy industry or in the meat industry. His destiny was different.

Jane

I am such an affectionate and loving sheep. I’m bright and smart and love human companionship.

Dais

I’m Dais, the SAFE guard duck.

Miss Piggie

I’m the queen of the pig kingdom and I love it!

Stella

My name is Stella and I was Patsy’s love!

Flocon

I’m Flocon, an enchanting pigeon with quite a character!

Leo

I’m so sweet and kind that humans always come and stroke my cheeks !

Thor

I am Thor, the master rooster! I walk with class with my feathers going down to my paws.

Malcolm

I am a sweet and sociable boy who gets along with others

Léon

I’m the new kid in pig space and I’m also the most nimble! I love taking mud baths.
