I am Argent

As a little chick, Argent arrived with 8 of his brothers and sisters at SAFE. Growing up, Argent, being of a gentler and calmer disposition, was rejected by his brothers and stood alone in the forest. When the red barn was built, Argent was happy to enter! We dedicated a space just for him in this barn and soon after, by chance, some chickens joined him. He has formed a special bond with Jack the rooster. They have a brotherly relationship… Sometimes they fight, but despite these little squabbles, they live very well together, as well as with each of their chickens!

Calvin

I am the biggest of all my bovine friends! I am often asked how old am I :)

Patsy

I’m a sweet and affectionate duck, and I love swimming in my little pool near the house. The volunteers take me there every day!

Daphné

I love coming to welcome visitors to the Sanctuary with my sister Delilah! We are considered the guard geese :)

Buzz

I’m a sweet and adorable goat, I admit, I’m a little scared of humans. No, but they are so big and imposing! I stay in my quiet corner when they come to clean the big one :)

Leo

I’m so sweet and kind that humans always come and stroke my cheeks !

Nemoo

Nemoo is a male calf of the Jersey breed and therefore has no use in the dairy industry or in the meat industry. His destiny was different.

Russell

I’m the greediest of them all, maybe even the whole Sanctuary! For me, everything tastes good and I don’t hesitate to do pirouettes to get what I want!

Bailey

Bailey arrived on September 23, 2018. She is a dairy cow who could not produce milk, as in principle sterile. Like any sterile dairy cow, she had to be sent to slaughter.

Simone

I am an energetic and curious pig who enjoys bossing my friend Malcolm around!

Ferdinand

I’m Ferdinand, the duck with the big heart!

Matilda

If something happens, she is the first to investigate. After the storm passes, Matilda returns to her curious nature, growling happily when scratched behind her ears.

I’m Dais, the SAFE guard duck.
