Bailey - SAFE

I am Bailey

Bailey arrived on September 23, 2018. She is a dairy cow who could not produce milk, as in principle sterile. Like any sterile dairy cow, she had to be sent to slaughter.

Bailey is now part of the SAFE family. It was quite a surprise, because against all expectations, she is not sterile! She gave birth to our lovely Marty in May 2019. It’s a double miracle because Bailey survived the slaughterhouse. In addition, her baby will escape its exploitation fate, whether as a heifer in the dairy industry, or as a calf, at the slaughterhouse for its meat.

Samson

Samson was brought to us by a caring soul. He had an injured leg when he arrived and was limping badly. Now that he is healed he has elected to live on the pond at SAFE.

Adam

Adam is our sweet boy growing up, brimming with curiosity about the world around him.

Nemoo

Nemoo is a male calf of the Jersey breed and therefore has no use in the dairy industry or in the meat industry. His destiny was different.

Buzz

I’m a sweet and adorable goat, I admit, I’m a little scared of humans. No, but they are so big and imposing! I stay in my quiet corner when they come to clean the big one :)

Beauty

Beauty’s previous Mom looked for a new loving home for her for 6 months and out of desperation was going to send her to an exploitation farm. We intercepted her just in time.
