I am Tom

Some time ago, a car came speeding up to our gate. A gentleman and his son came out, a little agitated, and announced that they had a turkey to give away, if I didn’t take it, it was going to be thrown to the side of the road, the gentleman announced.

So I agreed to take Tom.

From day one, Tom adopted us and showed us how clever he is. After spending his first day in the forest with the cows, he retur

He now spends his days with the ducks or geese, following them to the pond and returning on his own, most of the time, to the barn at sunset.

Tom is a huge, beautiful bird with powerful wings that take up a whole space for his flight and landing. He now lives with the chickens and ducks in our red barn, where the goats will soon return.

This will be a whole new chapter.

In the meantime, he is being spoiled and has already learned to ask for berries at home.

Bailey arrived on September 23, 2018. She is a dairy cow who could not produce milk, as in principle sterile. Like any sterile dairy cow, she had to be sent to slaughter.

I am an energetic and curious pig who enjoys bossing my friend Malcolm around!

Im a shy little goat who loves head scratches from humans!

Delilah

I love getting my belly scratched by humans, but don’t tell anyone!

Matilda

If something happens, she is the first to investigate. After the storm passes, Matilda returns to her curious nature, growling happily when scratched behind her ears.

I’m Dudley, Peking duck, full of energy and chatter!

I’m a sweet and affectionate duck, and I love swimming in my little pool near the house. The volunteers take me there every day!

Russell

I’m the greediest of them all, maybe even the whole Sanctuary! For me, everything tastes good and I don’t hesitate to do pirouettes to get what I want!
