I am Silver

Silver is a 5-year-old pony who may have been a mix of horse and pony. He is a beautiful looking boy who had never been touched and is just learning to trust, one human at a time. Even though he is skittish and weary of people he is very curious and loves to come close for a look, a whiff, a petting of the face and now the neck. His mane and tail were awful messes, but he let us untangle his mane. His tail is still to be worked on – slowly, one step at a time.

When a human he knows approaches, he looks up and willingly comes forward. Soon we hope Silver will let us brush him and enjoy a feel-good moment with a kind human.

I’m a sweet and affectionate duck, and I love swimming in my little pool near the house. The volunteers take me there every day!

Buzz

I’m a sweet and adorable goat, I admit, I’m a little scared of humans. No, but they are so big and imposing! I stay in my quiet corner when they come to clean the big one :)

Leo

I’m so sweet and kind that humans always come and stroke my cheeks !

Matilda

If something happens, she is the first to investigate. After the storm passes, Matilda returns to her curious nature, growling happily when scratched behind her ears.

Dudley

I’m Dudley, Peking duck, full of energy and chatter!

Bailey

Bailey arrived on September 23, 2018. She is a dairy cow who could not produce milk, as in principle sterile. Like any sterile dairy cow, she had to be sent to slaughter.

Russell

I’m the greediest of them all, maybe even the whole Sanctuary! For me, everything tastes good and I don’t hesitate to do pirouettes to get what I want!
