Jane came from a group of sheep which were rescued from an abusive farmer. She was taken away with 8 other family members. They were all sick and some had broken legs. Eventually 4 of her family members died. Jane was very sick for a long time. She was nursed back to health at the same time as Storm in the nursery which they shared. Through their ordeals, Storm and Jane became best friends and love each other’s company.

Jane is such an affectionate and loving sheep. She is bright and smart. She loves human companionship and was very quick to learn that she is safe with us at SAFE. Right from day one, she ran to hide behind our legs to get away for the less than friendly attention from Skye. She loves to be scratched and petted and leans her whole body against mine pecking and pulling at my hair. Jane is a treasure, a source of pure love.
